In the event of an accident the skin gets damaged. In most cases it’s not life threatening, but the scars are a constant reminder of the crash. TAC’s interactive sculpture Graham has thicker and tougher skin to shield and reduce abrasions and road rash.

Graham is the collaboration between the TAC, leading trauma surgeon Christian Kenfield, crash investigator expert David Logan and world-renowned artist Patricia Piccinini.

Graham’s thicker skin is even more apparent around the arms, elbows and hands – areas that are often instinctively outstretched when attempting to break a fall.
